Control your GivEnergy battery with confidence.

Use Manual Charge, Manual Export, schedules, Pause and Eco where supported by your hardware. GivHome checks the inverter before a change, sends the command locally, then reads the result back before reporting success.

Temporary commands preserve the inverter settings GivHome needs to borrow and restore them afterwards. Cancel when you need to; the app verifies the inverter rather than assuming success.

When you configure Intelligent Octopus Go, GivHome can show upcoming dispatch windows and the time remaining in a live cheap slot on your dashboard, helping you decide when to run higher-demand devices.

GivHome was built local-first. Normal inverter monitoring and control travel directly over your home network instead of depending on the GivEnergy cloud. Optional services such as Intelligent Octopus Go use their own provider connection when you choose to configure them.

Which GivEnergy systems are supported?
GivHome automatically detects the capabilities of your system and only shows features that are supported. Support continues to expand as additional hardware is validated.
Why can’t I see every feature?
Not all GivEnergy installations are the same. GivHome only displays controls that have been confirmed to work with your hardware.
Does GivHome change my inverter settings?
Only when you ask it to. Monitoring is read-only. Commands such as Manual Charge or Manual Export are only sent when you explicitly start them.
What happens after the free trial?
Every download includes a free 28-day trial. After that, you can continue with a one-off lifetime unlock. There are no recurring subscription fees for GivHome.
Is my data sent to the cloud?
No. GivHome is designed to communicate directly with your inverter over your home Wi-Fi.
How do I get help?
